Don't let homes sit empty, help build communities
Letting a property sit empty could mean depriving a family of a home. It can also attract anti-social behaviour. Help us build lasting communities we can be proud of.
Retrofitting empty homes produces substantially lower carbon emissions than building new homes. If we want to keep to climate targets, it’s a no-brainer. We need both new homes and to improve our older ones.
Dartford Borough Council can help you get funding for solar panels and wall/loft insulation. We also offer free support to owners whose properties are sitting empty.
