Information Source: Connect Plus Services
Connect Plus Services works on behalf of National Highways and Connect Plus to manage, operate and maintain the M25 and its linking roads, including the Dartford-Thurrock River Crossing.
We’re writing to update you on our work currently taking place on the M25 at junction 2, where we are resurfacing the anticlockwise carriageway smoother journeys.
We’re pleased to confirm that two of our three planned shifts have been successfully completed. To safely complete our final stage of work, we will need to close the M25 anticlockwise carriageway again this weekend, between the slip roads at junction 2, from 9pm on Saturday 17 May to 9am on Sunday 18 May.
During this 12-hour overnight closure, traffic will be directed to follow a short diversion route, using the exit and entry slip roads at the M25 junction 2 Darenth Interchange.
Additionally, there will be lane closures and a slip road closure on the clockwise carriageway between Junction 1a and Junction 2 for maintenance work to a bridge. For full details on this and other works in the area, please visit A282 Dartford Crossing maintenance and repairs - National Highways.
Please remember that closures can change at short notice. To help plan your journey, please visit www.nationalhighways.co.uk/travel-updates.
