Community Contributions to the Memorial Site

In 2024, CJ Love, a wholesale florist based in Darenth, played a significant role in enhancing the Memorial site situated outside St Margarets Church on Darenth Hill. In support of the Parish Council, Dan and Matt from CJ Love supplied the necessary planters for the project. These planters formed a key part of the ceremonial area, creating an attractive and enhanced environment.

In addition to the planters, Sam from CJS Plants provided a variety of plants to further improve the ceremonial space. These contributions were complemented by the dedicated efforts of community volunteers, who have continued to maintain both the plants and the surrounding area, ensuring that the site remains a fitting tribute throughout the year.

To formally acknowledge and express gratitude for these contributions, the Parish Council has installed a plaque at the site. This plaque recognises the valuable support provided by CJ Love and CJS Plants.

Ongoing Support for the Parish

CJ Love and CJS Plants have continued to offer their support to the Parish of Darenth, reinforcing their commitment to the local community and the upkeep of the Memorial site.
